Who we are

Košice QA Community is a community of people and professionals in the field of software testing, founded in 2022 in Košice, Slovakia. We are united by a passion for software quality, detective work, and the desire to share experiences, learn from each other, and build connections that go beyond a work profile – we are "QAmaráti" (QA friends).

We organise regular meetups where theory meets real-world practice. Behind more than 18 events stands a community of experts, beginners, and enthusiasts who together form a vibrant QA ecosystem in eastern Slovakia.

Every talk is followed by a Q&A with a moderator and interactive audience questions via Sli.do.

A networking break with refreshments – time for informal conversations, exchanging contacts, and building real connections.

Košice and the Region

We focus on the IT community in eastern Slovakia. Meetups are always FREE, always in-person, and without recording – everyone who comes wants to be there.

Panel Discussions

Beyond talks, we also organise panel discussions – multiple experts at one table, live exchange of opinions, a moderator, and audience Q&A.

Exclusive Early Access

Our meetup capacity is limited for a simple reason – demand exceeds spots. Registered followers receive invitations early and can register first.

Region, Academia & Growth

We care about the quality of topics, raise awareness of the tester's role, and actively seek collaboration with universities in Košice – to widen the bridge between academia and practice.

The community is built by people and companies

Košice QA Community is led by experienced testers with years of practice in software testing – people who build the community out of genuine interest and professional conviction, not as a side project. Together with them, the community is shaped by a broader group of QA professionals who share know-how and real-world experience.
